During your pet's spa session, it is my priority to assess your dog's needs and communicate that with you; their family. Together we will work to better understand what your pet needs during their spa treatment.

As a dog mom, I understand the importance of communicating your pet's needs and educating my clients on how we can achieve the haircuts and wellness your pet deserves. One of my top priorities is giving every dog a haircut that is appropriate for their lifestyle and also fits their personality.   

The Spot welcomes pets of all ages, breeds, and abilities. I have experience with animals who struggle with aggression, fear, and reactivity. I also have a deep passion for animals with disabilities.

Health, safety and wellness will always be the top priority of all services here at The Spot Pet Spa. All of our products are top quality and PH balanced to clean and nourish the coat. The bathtub is not only the first step of their service but the foundation of the groom. 

 Please note that each experience is unique and specific to each pet - their needs will all vary.

• Warm Froth - all of our shampoos and conditioners are selected specifically for the needs of each pet. We froth all of our unique shampoo mixtures for each bath.  Each pet is scrubbed thoroughly and their skin and coat is sealed with a hydrating conditioner
• De-shed treatments and medicated shampoos upon request 
• Sugar Scrub - a special exfoliating treatment that scrubs away dead skin, dander, and debris to reveal clean smooth skin
• Paw Soak - a fizzy paw soak that deep cleans, soothes irritation and conditions paws
• Facial Cleanser - a tearless shampoo that cleanses the face, head, and ears.  Removes eye boogies, helps soften tear stains, and de-greases the ears!
• Ear cleaning 
• Gland expression upon request
• Tooth brushing 
• Blow Dry- Removes dead undercoat and lifts dander from the skin. This allows us to really take a close look at their skin and coat.
• Fluff dry, brush, and comb out. This gives your pup that plush stuffed animal feel! Stretch dries the coat and removes any knots and tangles that may be lingering. This is the perfect prep for a light trim or full groom.
• Nail Trim - Clip and Dremel
• Paw pad shave (helps with traction) and sanitary trim (if needed) Clears hair from sanitary areas to help keep your pet clean

Each groom is tailored to each pet, their needs, lifestyle, and personality! Whether they are couch potatoes, divas, or active outdoorsmen we will give them the perfect trim to keep them stylish but functional and maintainable for you, their parents! We are well-versed in breed standard trims, puppies, teddy bear cuts, and hand scissoring.

Your pet will never be shaved without a conversation and permission beforehand.
